ബര്‍ലിന്‍: ജര്‍മ്മനിയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ബാങ്കായ ഡോഷെ ബാങ്ക് ഈ വര്‍ഷം റീട്ടെയില്‍ ബാങ്കിംഗ് വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ 2,000 ജോലികള്‍ വെട്ടിക്കുറയ്ക്കാന്‍ പദ്ധതിയിടുന്നതായി ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെ ചീഫ് എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ക്രിസ്ററ്യന്‍ സെവിംഗ് പറഞ്ഞു.ലാഭം കുറയുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് തുക കുറയ്ക്കാനുള്ള നീക്കം, ചെലവ് കുറയ്ക്കാനുള്ള ബാങ്കിന്റെ വിപുലമായ തന്ത്രത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണിത്. ബാങ്കിന്റെ നിരവധി ശാഖകള്‍ അടച്ചുപൂട്ടാനും പദ്ധതിയുണ്ട്.

ഡോഷെ ബാങ്കിനെയും അതിന്റെ അനുബന്ധ സ്ഥാപനമായ പോസ്ററ് ബാങ്കിനെയും ബാധിയ്ക്കും.

ചെലവ് ചുരുക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം 3,500 സപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് സ്ററാഫുകളെ പിരിച്ചുവിട്ടുകൊണ്ട് ബാങ്ക് ഇതിനകം തന്നെ അതിന്റെ തൊഴിലാളികളെ കുറച്ചു.
ലോകത്താകമാനം 90,000 പേര്‍ ഈ ബാങ്കില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്.

സെപ്റ്റംബറില്‍, ബാങ്ക് ഈ വര്‍ഷം അതിന്റെ 400 പ്രാദേശിക ശാഖകളില്‍ 50 എണ്ണം അടച്ചുപൂട്ടുന്നതായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു, പോസ്ററ്ബാങ്കിലെ 200~ലധികം ശാഖകളും ഇതില്‍പ്പെടും.

ബാങ്ക് ക്രമേണ ഡിജിറ്റല്‍ ബാങ്കിംഗ് സേവനങ്ങള്‍ സംയോജിപ്പിച്ച് സ്വകാര്യ ഉപഭോക്താക്കള്‍ക്കായി വീഡിയോ, ഫോണ്‍ കണ്‍സള്‍ട്ടേഷനുകള്‍ വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നു.

2025~ഓടെ 10% ത്തില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വരുമാനം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട്, കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷത്തെ 4.7% ല്‍ നിന്ന് ഇക്വിറ്റിയിലെ വരുമാനം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്താന്‍ പുനഃക്രമീകരണ നടപടികള്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയാണ് ശ്രമം.

2024~ല്‍ ബാങ്കിന്റെ പ്രകടനം പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചതിലും താഴെയായി, നികുതിക്ക് മുമ്പുള്ള ലാഭം 5.3 ബില്യണ്‍ യൂറോ (5.8 ബില്യണ്‍ ഡോളര്‍) ~ മുന്‍ വര്‍ഷത്തേക്കാള്‍ 7% കുറവാണ്.
