ഫോക്സ് വാഗന്‍, മെഴ്സിഡസ് ബെന്‍സ്, ബോഷ്, വാലിയോ, മിച്ചലിന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ വമ്പന്‍ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ ഇതിനകം പിരിച്ചുവിടല്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപനം നടത്തിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. വാഹന നിര്‍മാതാക്കളുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം മന്ദഗതിയിലാകുന്നത് ഇവര്‍ക്ക് ആവശ്യമുള്ള ചിപ്പ് അടക്കമുള്ള ചെറുഘടകങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍മിക്കുന്ന മറ്റു സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളെയും പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലാക്കുകയാണ്.

ഇതിനൊപ്പം തന്നെയാണ്, തന്ത്രപ്രധാന മേഖലകളില്‍ അടക്കം പലയിടത്തും തൊഴിലാളികളെ കിട്ടാനില്ലാത്തു കാരണം പ്രതിസന്ധി ഉടലെടുത്ത അവസ്ഥയും. ചില മേഖലകള്‍ മാന്ദ്യം നേരിടുമ്പോള്‍ മറ്റു പല മേഖലകളിലും കൂടുതല്‍ വിദഗ്ധ തൊഴിലാളികളെ ആവശ്യമായി വരും എന്നതാണ് ആശ്വാസ വാര്‍ത്ത. ഇതില്‍ ഗ്രീന്‍ ഇന്‍ഫ്രാസ്ട്രക്ചര്‍ മേഖലയും നിര്‍മാണ മേഖലുമെല്ലാം ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നു. ഹെല്‍ത്ത്, മുതിര്‍ന്നവര്‍ക്കുള്ള പരിചരണം, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, ഗതാഗതം തുടങ്ങിയ മേഖലകള്‍ക്കും ആള്‍ക്ഷാമം പരിഹരിക്കാതെ മുന്നോട്ടു പോകാനാവില്ല.
